I am an artist and love to create things! I can't stick to just one medium, so am constantly trying to figure out how to use new materials and end up temporarily obsessed with a new passion.
My greatest love is my family. "Boo" is my wild, fearless (to the point of it being scary!), stubborn, silly, little toddler girlie and "Monkey" is my energetic, sweet, also silly, and sometimes shy, kindergartener. I also have a grown foster daughter who I will brag is now a chef! (so proud!) I love watching them grow and learn. I have a very supportive husband that lets me stay home to raise our kids and figure out what I want to do when I grow up (ha ha). They are the most important things in my life!
I love nature and can't stand to be indoors or even in town for too long. I must escape for at least a short hike, away from technology and noise. To breathe in the fresh air and renew. I love reading, but get sucked in and nothing else gets done until I'm finished with a good book (little ones don't appreciate that so much) so resist when I can.
I love to write, though rarely find the time, which is why I turned this blog into more of journal, no longer just boring updates on my art! I need to put all the crazy thoughts in my head somewhere! It's getting too crowded in here.
